Privacy Policy

Last updated: 26 July 2026

OnTheGrass ("the app") is a coaching tool for football drills, session plans, and tactics, built for desktop (Windows) and Android. This policy explains what happens to your data when you use it.

Data storage

OnTheGrass does not use a cloud account, and it does not have a server that stores your data. All information you enter into the app - drills, session plans, tactics boards, images, and any other content you create - is stored locally on your own device, in the app's local database and file storage.

We (the developer) have no access to this data. It is never transmitted to us or to any third party automatically by the app.

Backup and transfer between devices

OnTheGrass includes a manual backup/export feature so you can move your data between your own devices (for example, from desktop to your Android device). These backup files are created and stored wherever you choose to save them - typically on your own device, cloud storage folder, or removable media that you control. OnTheGrass does not upload backups anywhere on its own.

Contact and support

If you contact the developer directly - for example, by emailing us with a bug report, feedback, or a support request - any information you choose to include in that message (such as your email address or details about an issue you're experiencing) is received and handled like any other personal email. This is not automatic or built into the app; it only happens if you choose to reach out.

Third parties

OnTheGrass does not include third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking software. It does not sell or share your data, because it does not collect your data in the first place.

Children's privacy

OnTheGrass is a tool intended for use by coaches to plan training sessions. It is not directed at children, and it does not knowingly collect personal information from children, since it does not collect personal information from anyone - all data stays local to the device it's installed on.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes - for example, if a future version of the app introduces optional cloud sync or crash reporting - this page will be updated to reflect that, and the "last updated" date above will change accordingly.
